On the matter of replacing Starmer. Absolutely not. We need to get away from this notion that parties can depose sitting Prime Ministers at the drop of a hat. Labour under Starmer was elected in 2024 and voters should decide. If they want a change of leader, call a general election.

All I ever hear are complaints about what a poor job the SNP is doing in Scotland and how they can't even pull off an independence referendum, their reason for being. So it makes total sense that they look like coming out of the Holyrood elections just about as strong as before it 🤔🙄

Why do I support the Greens? Because they speak to the real problem. Wealth inequality is at unsustainable levels and getting worse. Services the 99% rely on are hollowed out as a result. Greens may not be able to fix this. But at least they're not lying about the reality we face.

Of course it doesn't help when you have a party leader who won the leadership on a policy platform that he subsequently entirely repudiated as LOTO and showed no signs of embracing as PM. Voters who want far right rhetoric on immigration will vote Reform regardless.

Thoroughly depressing election results so far. It absolutely blows my mind that people put trust in Reform to deliver local government. If you want incompetence coupled with hard-faced disgust towards any sort of minority or special interest group, they are definitely the way to go. Shameful.

Willing to eat humble pie and say that I expected to dislike Starfleet Academy and I ended up loving it. 10 episodes is too damn short though. That 2 part finale needed more time to really ratchet up the tension and drama and explore some of the side stories more deeply. I miss long seasons.
