To my Trans bloomfs (or any Trans person who comes across this), I may have the opportunity through work to direct some funding and people-power to the community in the next few months. I'm exploring local options, but would love your input to help maximize our impact. DMs are open.

Ten glorious years of a guy who has mostly been the president and always been the main character of American political life doing posts like this and everyone trying to figure out what cable news segment he saw, misunderstood in the way a dog might misunderstand a crossword, and made into policy.

Abolish the agency. Prosecute leadership and field agents. Blacklist anyone who so much as answered the phones from law enforcement (because clearly mall security is too much power for these people).

insisting on calling every mass day of protest or one-day boycott a "general strike" is not the move. it's good to see people rallying around the cause, it matters, but if you want to be part of a large-scale labor action that shuts down the gears of capital, start by unionizing your workplace!!!

Abolish ICE is not enough. Stern words for Greg Bovino or Kristi Noem is not enough. We need prosecutions and trials. Anything short of this position fails to address the gravity of this moment.

The view from my apartment window. That parking lot has been plowed twice today. You can hardly tell thereâs a road there. My weather app says weâre at 25â and counting. I love it.

I canât talk during moments like this because I get super Irish about it and immediately want raw vengeance. that and I am reminded that the reason we are here is America has a stupid two party system and the side apparently representing equity and sanity are a pack of useless careerist cunts

My take on the Jan 23 action in Minneapolis is that I donât really care whether itâs a âtrueâ general strike (we could argue about that all day). What DOES matter is that itâs a bold and necessary escalation, and local labor leaders are publicly encouraging workers to join in anti-ICE resistance

Also, any Democrat who wonât get on board with abolishing ICE (as opposed to continually voting for increased funding and decreased accountability in some foolhardy courting of the xenophobe vote) needs to be driven not only from the party but ideally from politics and public life altogether.

I canât help but wonder how many of the people who are (rightly) losing their shit at a jackbooted thug of the state murdering an innocent white woman in broad daylight spent 2020 tut-tutting their way through any discussion of police reform and accountability.

Yeah I don't know how to fully express that I feel like my soul is basically damaged by the way I feel about the regime & its agents at this point. I don't know that I've ever really felt this level of visceral moral CONTEMPT for other humans. It veers into cold hate at times in ways I worry about.

Fellow Pennsylvanians: Please go vote today. If you vote for nothing and no one else, at least make sure you vote YES on retaining the three PA Supreme Court judges. They may be the only thing standing between democracy and PA GOP gerrymandering & election interference. Got that? Vote YES. TODAY.
