It's absolutely clear to me that many Americans are unaware their military is still killing innocent civilians all over the West Indies, including several from my country, keeping in mind the Caribbean was a zone of peace until Trump unilaterally declared war on every fishing vessel and sail boat.

I have been in visceral terror for the past 24 hours that they would break the ceasefire (not that it was ever a proper ceasefire since they blatantly ignored the "stop ethnically cleansing Lebanon" part) part on Eid because they always attack us on major holidays.

Every time I talk to one of my Cuban friends, I learn something even more horrific about what's happening in Cuba. Every single person there is experiencing suffering that most people can't imagine, cheerfully inflicted by the US government without even bothering to make up an excuse.

I know it's almost laughable to ask Americans to seriously think about these things but what was done on Iraqi soul was the most egregious kind of violation. Bad enough for the US to exert such undue presence in Iraq already, but using it to help an aggressor state invade and establish secret bases?

And then at least one Iraqi civilian and one Iraqi soldier were murdered for the "crime" of happening upon illegal bases which had no reason to be there.

The conversation *I'd* like to have is what it actually means to be pro-Palestinian, who the knee-jerk "oh so you think ALL JEWS should DIE?" accusations get flung at and who they don't, and why we care so much more about #problematic words than actual actions. Call me when we're ready for that one.
