Even against all of Trump's cascading attacks over the past seven months, it had seemed that up until now, our culture at large—the literal shows, movies, art, music, literature we consume—seemed somewhat siloed from Trump's fury. But the end of Colbert marks a dark new stage.

Yes, I saw people expressing a lot of empathy for the men who use the chatbots, which, of course, I can see why, but I also saw it as one more way that technology would/could facilitate the dehumanization, harassment and abuse of women everywhere.

Different fields, but I feel something similar to this at times, too.
