Since I’ve been with Jim we’ve done Christmas morning at his mom’s house and then Christmas afternoon/dinner at his dad’s. After his dad passed away last year we had no idea what to do with ourselves and I had recently made a pair of big ramen bowls so we decided homemade ramen is our new tradition.

I’ve had my car for 15 years and it’s given me very little trouble. This week it had the awful timing of throwing the engine light though. Dealership wanted $4k. 😬 It’s not urgently unsafe so we took it home and Jim got a quote elsewhere for like half that. 🤞🏻 Everything feels so precarious rn.

I was going to post about how I love a good slant rhyme but looking it up I realize I’ve been using the wrong term I guess? What I’m thinking of appears to be a mosaic rhyme. Like the Früvous song that just shuffled up rhyming “toxic” with “dog sick”. But anyway, whatever you call it I love them.

On the flip side I definitely think there’s some RSD responsible for my post-class meltdown last night with the teacher (the owner) trying to teach me something to be better, but I never asked him to and it just felt like a big “you suck and I’ll tell you why you suck”.
