We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

Really tired of 8 years (and more to come) of infantilizing Trump voters and absolving them of their actions when they are full-grown adults who choose to vote for that guy

I actually think that it’s very, very important that now that we have completely heard the nonsense concerns of the Trump voter and seen the effects of their vile intentions that we reject them utterly and build a compassionate sustainable world without seeking their permission or assistance.

The entire campaign was Trump going "I am going to screw you over" and voters going "he doesn't mean it." Meanwhile, Harris was saying, "I am going to help you" and they all went, "she doesn't mean it." No fucking idea how you win elections or run a country like this.

In the end, you know who voted for the division. So don't let them "have their cake and eat it". If they wanted a life that could be more comfortable and quiet they should have loved everyone enough to listen, and to vote for it
