oh wow, I spent a tiny amount of time playing the demo for Clever Girls, and it's already clear it's going to be really special. The art is glorious, the writing for the dialogue keeps the characters distinct AND is funny, and the whole premise for the demo does creative things.

The super interesting about difficulty slider discourse is that the game most people hold up (Dark Souls) has three difficulty sliders, Your build (this is why Pyromancy is mocked), Summons, aaaaand which paths you take. The greatest flaw in the original game is that your build is inscrutable.
