Re the Moda Center, from experiencez in Florida, it is a mistake to give large amounts of taxpayer monies to sports teams for major facilities upgrades, especially when existing agreements put the onus on team owner. Dundon continues to fail, because there is no compelling case to make for what is indefensible public policy. The Blazers probably won't leave, because there's nowhere better to go. And even if the team leaves, Portland will continue to be awesome and be richer.
