I’m excited to share that I have started a new position as Senior Scientist, Biomolecular Simulation, at @bindresearch.org in London! We are creating experimental and computational tools and public datasets with the goal of making intrinsically disordered proteins druggable.

One take-away from #benzon25 is that while we now have great structure prediction and sequence design models, many (most?) problems actually require thermodynamic models and that extracting and tuning thermodynamics from structure/sequence remains very hard.

I often barely believe it. Recently we've also been having a lot of luck with single digit nanomolar affinities. This is affinity range distribution from our latest campaign, 42 screened, 22 binders, almost all low nanomolar, some picomolar.
