It's so hard to think how to fully quantify it, but I genuinely think Musk is one of the most harmful people alive. He has basically unlimited wealth and power, and he's genuinely a terrible person who wants to use that wealth to make things more terrible.

There’ve been 5 mass extinctions in Earth’s history that wiped out a majority of species living on the planet. Most were from sudden climate change. None of those happened anywhere close to as fast as we’re doing it right now. Give it 50 million yrs, planet will be fine. We’re hosing ourselves tho.

NZ Govt says it can’t afford to properly fund public health, cause it gave the money to fossil fuel companies and dairy companies. And here we are in the middle of an extreme weather event, events made worse by climate change, relying on the public health system to support us.

Does the highly paid Brian Roche not understand how inflation works? Inflation rates are always historic - the prices have already gone up. Workers are already paying those prices. When the rate drops - prices don’t go down, they just rise more slowly.

In 1976, African nations boycotted the Montreal Olympics because New Zealand stood with apartheid South Africa. Nearly 50 years on, that echo lingers and the stain remains far longer than we care to admit to ourselves.

Use “I” statements please Winston. The tens of thousands of NZers who marched, the thousands and thousands more who see this genocide for what it is and who know recognising Palestine is an important symbol of solidarity, your decision does not represent us.

Signs we won't recognise Palestine: - Seymour said he won't & Luxon said it'll be a Govt position not an agree-to-disagree one - If we were going to, we would have announced today with UK/Aus/Can - Aus PM reacted to US pushback today saying Aus policy not decided in Washington *or Wellington*
