Today’s #OneGoodThing was getting a new fountain pump so the miniature fountain that has been dry for YEARS is flowing again.

After calling the White House, I am now FEARLESS in making calls to the government. Just called the office @mcbath.house.gov to ask her to stop letting the Trump agenda slip through and be a proper opposition party. Next time: give my name and zip code up front, so they know to listen to me.

I’m going to try to close each day with #OneGoodThing that happened. I wrote! I finished writing a little vignette that I was stuck on for a while. It felt SO GOOD. It was a sign that just because I’m promoting a new book, I shouldn’t stop making new things. I wrote a beautiful future. Because.
