In general, performing in front of a TV screen with a game on behind you is quite deflating for musicians. It’s almost the essence of a bad gig. However, having the Patriots on behind me today meant that people kept smiling and getting excited the whole time I played today.

We went on an excellent literary pub crawl in Dublin tale with two actors reciting bits of Joyce, Beckett, Brendan Behan, Wilde and others. It was really excellent and there was a quiz at the end and I won first prize: this T shirt.
