Got the new Metroid, I am enjoying it so far, but it is very by the numbers. Haven't gotten the bike yet, but I suspect they are playing it as safe as possible on this one, which is a bummer. That said, it's making all my favorite Metroid noises that make my dumb, uncritical child brain go YIPEE! 🤷‍♂️

I just read It Took Luke, a graphic novel by Mark Bouchard and Bayleigh Underwood. It's about someone having major burnout at their shit job, only the shit job is fighting demons. The story is hella relatable, drenched in gore, and a good bit spooky. Bayleigh's art shines: expressive and kinetic!
