Networking shouldn't have to be a slog. I think a lot comes down to engaging in each others' work, being supportive, and reaching out to the friends you're making along the way. Instead of getting "plucked from obscrurity", be so undeniably you that creatives want to come see what you're building.

It's not the end of the world it's just that I really liked the drawing and can't help but feel I ruined it by applying paint to the surface. Which, I mean, is a terrible way for a painter to feel. Common, but terrible.

I read a thing today that has me feeling some kind of way. It boils down to, "I am shocked and bewildered that trial and error would actually contain error." Anyway, that sure is a painting I just did.
