The memory of these stories should be a lesson for us all, that ‘never again’ means never again for everyone everywhere. People under violent occupation have every right to resist, including armed resistance - to exist in this world. You only have to have a heart to understand this.

I've now received 3 separate fundraising texts from Vindman in under 2 hours from 3 separate numbers—so opting out is impossible. Unethical at best. His texts cite his refugee status and trauma under tyranny—yet he proudly supporting Netanyahu and denying genocide of Palestinians. Beyond the pale.

Imagine a paramilitary gang kills 2 observers over 2 weeks, then shows up at your home to say, "You, observer, we know where you live." That's a death threat. If it happened to me or a colleague when I was a human rights observer in N. Ireland, we would've lodged complaints with three govts.

CBP defines 'border' as 100 miles from a coast. Two-thirds of the US population live in the 'border zone.' And we literally have viral footage of them executing people. So keeping CBP 'at the border' and bodycams would mean much of the country can still be terrorized by CBP and executed on film

The fundamental tenet of Robert Peel, who founded the first municipal police force in London, is that the police are the people and the people are the police. Once this connection is destroyed, you are simply an occupying force. This is why ICE should be withdrawn from Minneapolis, today.
