It's depressing how easily my fellow white liberals slide into embracing fascism as soon as they have to look at an unhoused person. Like... they see one poor person on the street and they are suddenly pro-jackboots and anti-civil liberties. It's nauseating.

honestly I want everyone out there just saying "I'm a centrist. I just believe that everyone on both sides should get healthcare and affordable groceries and gas prices they can afford and not have to constantly worry about survival" just say it 24/7 and make THEM argue that it's not centrist.
