Mind mother was a librarian. She let me read absolutely anything I wanted to. I lived in books and I learned to see things from different viewpoints. I learned what kind of person I wanted to be. Let kids choose their own books. Let them read voraciously.

Everyone should have a library card. Everyone. If you don’t, please head to your local branch and get one. While you are at it, ask a librarian what services (digital and physical) they offer their patrons. I promise you’ll be surprised. #libraries

Saw a post about libraries and OverDrive/Libby providing digital magazine subscriptions for free. It’s an amazing service. Another thing a lot of libraries offer is free access to language learning apps. Check your library homepage or ask a librarian about all the services they offer. #libraries
