the funniest phenomena of indie gaming is when some game blows up that utilizes outdated software and it causes teens and young adults to want to learn that software. it happened with baldi's basics and anim8or and i've seen it happen with garn47 and blender game engine

I still think about this thread. A lot! There's so many things I could add but one thing I will add is that I will always be grateful for the GBE+ Emulator. Like legit it is the only emulator right now that can emulate so many obscure Game Boy accessories. I wish more emulators did this!

I think emulators are cool as hell but I am always surprised at people's apathy or disinterest in continued updates or new emulators for systems that are "well covered" I just saw a mame update for Turtles in Time that fixed missing sprites during the Sewer Surfin. That game was added to mame in 99
