When I was homeless in 2019, the stress activated a strange hyperthyroid-like condition where I was losing a ton of weight and I needed to eat around 4k-5K calories a day to stay a healthy weight. I used my SNAP to by the most calorie dense foods possible, and these were things like snack cakes. 1/2
