Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts. Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

He’s definitely talking about the insurrection act - that was always the plan if SCOTUS didn’t let him use the Guard as his personal military force. He’s going to look for a reason to invoke the Insurrection Act and bypass their ruling. He’ll probably try martial law before he’s done. Won’t work.
