When she says book-length, she ain’t kidding. This essay is about 61,000 words, so the Hugos would count it as a novel (40,000 words or more) if it were fiction. It’s very worth reading, as is the rest of Last War in Albion. (Which I really need to get back to.)

And what a read it is

I suspect it’s fatigue. I can’t count how many “Elon Musk’s vision of the world” and “did you know how bad Elon Musk is” articles I’ve seen in the last three years. And nothing in the description here makes it stand out from the genre. Like, maybe there’s great stuff in here, but it looks generic.

This framing is appalling. 1) “JUST IN” no it isn’t. The underlying story here broke two months ago. 2) “just got more control American media,” ok first off proofread. Second, no. The deal has not closed The actual development, that the shareholders approved the deal, isn’t even mentioned.

What’s wild is that “falling in love” is only Emmylou Harris’s third best voice, behind “being heartbroken” (Easy From Now On, Boulder to Birmingham) and “self-destructive” (Ooh Las Vegas, Deeper Well).

If you haven't read Elizabeth Sandifer's "Cuddled Little Vice" it's absolutely and 100% worth the time. It's hard to imagine anybody will ever write a better reflection on Neil Gaiman's artistic legacy and all it implies, both about the limits of art and the limits of a particular person.
