When you aggregate the comments of various Reform UK candidates, you find they: Hate the NHS Hate immigrants Hate Black people Hate Brown people Hate Muslims Hate Jews Hate women Hate students Hate LGTBQ people Hate the unemployed Hate disabled people Hate everyone ... Surgeon in Beirut describes âabsolute massacreâ after Israeli strikes
A British-Palestinian surgeon working in Beirut has described the aftermath of Israeli strikes as an âabsolute massacre,â as hospitals struggle to cope with a surge of casualties. At least 182 people have been killed in Lebanon after Israel launched what it described as its largest wave of air strikes in the conflict, hitting more than 100 targets in just 10 minutes on Wednesday (8 April). Speaking to The Independent, Ghassan Abu Sittah said patients began arriving almost simultaneously, âAnd so the emergency departments have been flooded across the whole of Beirut,â he said. The surgeon described the situation as âhorrendousâ. âA lot of people brought in are dead, a lot of children with severe injuries,â he said.

The last 24 hours have shown what many have said for a long time. Britain's role as an accomplice to Trump's America must end. We must urgently decouple from a rogue US & seek security with allies closer to home. That starts with suspension of the US bombers on British soil.

7 hours of silence from the Prime Minister. The US is using UK bases. The President is openly talking about destroying a civilisation. And Downing Street says... nothing. If you wonât speak up now, when will you?

What did this man do to deserve the destruction of his home and property? We sit in relative confidence that a bomb won't destroy our homes â didn't he have the same right? This is the evil of Trump's regime.

The UK must immediately and unequivocally suspend support for the US military. The Government have tried to appease him, then they tried to say they're standing up to him. Words aren't enough - it's time for action.

Israel is an apartheid state. That apartheid now officially includes the death penalty. Israel has long engaged in mass extrajudicial executions of Palestinians. It's now official state policy.

A billionaire can get what they want with one donation to a political party. The rest of us must fight for years to get even the most basic rights recognised. Money destroys democracy, more than any other cause. The first step towards a better world is to stop the rich buying political outcomes.

You've all heard of the Resource Curse: countries are impoverished by rich resources in their territories, as these trigger colonial looting. Now we see the Base Curse: if you host a US base, you don't enhance your security. You make yourself a target.

How much more evidence do we need? The ultra-rich and the governments supporting them will destroy everything for the sake of profit, power and pride. Nothing is precious to them - not human life, not the living world - except their own wealth and status. Our survival depends on resisting them.
