I’ve been trying to work out why I have a visceral dislike of AI. It’s not the theft, awful as that is. It’s the language, the callous disregard, the gleeful dismissal of agency. ‘It’s inevitable.’ ‘You must accept it.’ ‘There’s nothing you can do.’ It’s abusive.
