Unfortunately, this has solved 90% of the problems in my life with its social and mental health benefits, while adding the slight problem of realizing motorists now want to kill me.

After housing, this is the next big zoning reform: the right to do business. Always found it odd that the USA, supposedly the land of the free market, makes it the hard if not outright illegal to open a business in most places. Like many other planning failures, this one's also rooted in racism.

The funny thing about residential zoning though is, put that business in a car and suddenly it's OK! Services that go to someone's house, gig work food delivery and ride apps, etc are all businesses operating in residential zones, but since they're on wheels, it gets around local zoning.

Huge fans of NORTA’s 11 bus

Currently in NORTA and I think you could argue it is WAY too cheap. $15 for a week pass for bus, streetcar, AND ferry. I mean as a tourist I love it but this is def worth $25 at least if not more. Also $3/day is crazy! Idk how much more service they could run with double the fare, but it’s not zero!

In case you need more proof that drivers are NOT ok, see this person deciding it’s reasonable to use their car mirror as a weapon bc they refuse to legally park their car. This should get you in actual legal trouble and probably court mandated counseling.
