Bicyclist was just doored on Butler St. He dipped in and out of consciousness before being taken by the ambulance. The police decided not to show up because “the biker left the scene.” In an ambulance. This is why our city crash data sucks — nothing is reported. 2023 had more than five crashes.

No amount of driver education or enforcement will fix this. People are not patient. Vulnerable road users need real separation, not just paint.

This driver parked half in a parking space, half in the bike lane. Parking legally would have been easier, and it’s free today. Why do drivers do this?

It's the audacity that gets me. Parking in the bike lanes and just hanging out while cyclist(s) approach...
