For years, Google Maps was unable to provide me any directions from my saved location "Home" -- I had to type my actual address. Just found out it's because my home address was set to the phrase "Your Saved Location".

Bicyclist was just doored on Butler St. He dipped in and out of consciousness before being taken by the ambulance. The police decided not to show up because “the biker left the scene.” In an ambulance. This is why our city crash data sucks — nothing is reported. 2023 had more than five crashes.

350,000 runners and spectators came to Pittsburgh for the marathon today. Many of them chose to rely on public transit instead of drive…and the T never showed up. This is such an embarrassment to our region. I heard from runners who waited 45 minutes for transit before spending a fortune on an Uber.

Highly recommend canvassing for Mayor Gainey in the rain. Everybody is home! So many conversations!

Every once and a while, I get bummed and think about how big of an impact The Confluence would be making in Pittsburgh right now if it hadn't been canceled. The discussions with mayoral candidates outside of contentious debates, interviews with heads of museums whose funding is being cut, and more.
