The Intercept built a guide of the official shoulder patches that ICE uses for unit identification, as well as known insignias worn by CBP agents & many unofficial patches that feds have been spotted wearing.

The paltry half-measures proffered don't even come close to reducing the harm Democrats already did, knowing what Trump would do. They voted to keep more immigrants in jail so they would be easier to deport, and so that people would suffer and die.

In fact most of the proposals I see tossed around appear designed to make immigration arrests more seamless and less upsetting, rather than actually reduce the number of people arrested and sent to jail.

Because many people on here are talking about making demands, it might be worth thinking about the goal. Body cameras, unmasking, and making it easier to sue will not reduce the number of people arrested and condemned to jail to die, suffer and/or be deported.

I actually had to update this piece because I was using old data for Border Patrol killings. The true number is much higher. An analysis by @nomoredeaths.bsky.social shows at least 519 "fatal encounters" since 2010. This does not include >13,000 people killed by "prevention through deterrence."
