This sucks. I take the Green Line every Tuesday morning to go to PSU and the train is always full. Transfers add a ton of time and inconvenience to a trip. Still shocking this is happening while the legislature says okay to highway expansions we also don’t have $$ for.

North Carolina State Senate just passed (44-1) H.162 the PARKING LOT REFORM/STORMWATER CONTROL bill! Costly parking mandates will be prohibited in more than 90% of the entire state starting 1/1/27 (pending an expected concurrence vote). Congratulations to everyone who put in time on this!!

This is extremely, extremely bad. Blue states and cities need to find a creative financing mechanism to unlock construction and abolish costly project-by-project mandates to build parking, fund affordable housing, and parks. We need to build the damn homes!
