We are the country that set foot on the moon. We are the land of opportunity. We are the American dream. Today, those ideals are being challenged. But we can stand up for them. Will you join us?

Our members have lived their oath through service at NASA and in the U.S. armed forces. There’s a deep sense of duty to the patriotic values and principles we have spent our careers and lives defending. It’s mission critical that we continue the fight for these values.

America should lead the world in scientific endeavors. We have the best and brightest, and we’ll always advocate for NASA to receive the funding it needs to help us stay on top.

The Constitution and rule of law are serious. They’re not suggestions, and we need to get back to a place where this is respected. It’s the foundation of our country.

As former astronauts, we know that truth, science, and teamwork aren’t optional. Ignoring evidence in space costs lives. In democracy, ignoring evidence costs trust, stability, freedom and the health and well-being of the people. This work is patriotic, not partisan.

From space, you can clearly see that what unites us is far more important than what divides us. That's why we started Astronauts For America, and why we're working to bring together Americans to stand against divisiveness, polarization and any attack on our American values.

We served our country as astronauts, and that commitment to America has never ended. We owe it to current and future generations to continue our mission.
