Since the 15th Street Protected Bike Lane was installed: • Crashes ⬇️ 46% • Bike injuries ⬇️ 91% Removing the PBL between Constitution Ave and the Tidal Basin would increase conflicts between pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles at one of the busiest times of year.

Gone are the days when out-of-state drivers could repeatedly drive recklessly in our communities while escaping consequences. We are going to court, winning judgments, securing settlements, collecting penalties, and filing new lawsuits. If you drive on DC streets, follow DC traffic laws.

Cameras only issue tickets when drivers are going 10+ mph over the posted speed limit. The solution is to reinvest the funds back into street safety, e.g., a safe street redesign at that specific location. The current Mayor has made it her choice to sweep the funds into the general fund instead. 👎
