Lindsey should never have been put in the position where she had to display the courage she did, but she still absolutely did. I have nothing but the deepest respect for her. There are a lot of reasons I am glad Mamdani beat Cuomo but this picture right here, the joy, top of the list for sure.

Lindsey Boylan was the first whistleblower to come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Andrew Cuomo. Her accusations & those of 12 others were corroborated by the NY AG (and later by DOJ.) Cuomo resigned. Now he has lost again, and this picture is as unabashed a joy as you'll see.

This 100% Hiring women to write, draw, color and edit comics seems to be an anomaly. Repeating it continually feels like whining but we’re just shining a light on the situation.

I’m just saying, I directed a movie for basically no money that debuted in the 90s on rotten tomatoes and got distribution with no stars attached, I did not get a single call and couldn’t even find a rep as a director. This was not the case for any of the male directors I went to AFI with.
