Currently hrumping about sand box setups in #ttrpg. Some players enjoy the freedom and the arguments about what to do. Some players completely zone out. Having both kinds of players makes running a more open game frustrating. Any advice, bearing in mind this is definitely not my first rodeo?

Cosy #DnD. All the combat and spellcasting rules are still there but theres no fighting - it's all conversation and social conflict. Roll to hot eith your Compelling Argument and do damage to their Stubborness - but don't let them reduce your Stubbornedd to 0 or they win the argument!

I enjoyed the review wnd took it as an indication I was running Triangle Agency "right" in that I took a light touch to designing an misdion from scratch and leant right into the weirdness. Many of his criticisms felt valid, and yet I'm still looking forward to running it again on Sunday.
