this is a genuinely inventive take on 5e that screws the narrative tension to the breaking point and one day I will actually run it. (Hallowe'en one shot, maybe?)

This gets a strong recommendation from me, with both my fun gaming head on and my game designer nitpicking function switched on. It uses the familiarity of 5th Edition, and then extends it to meet the genre expectations of horror. 1/

FWIW both of these tweets are both philosophically and scientifically accurate to the best of my understanding. I certainly would co-sign them (allowing for goldfish as hyperbole). The leaked Buffy New Sunnydale pilot script has been getting a lot of shit - I decided to read it myself, given Events. And you know what? It's pretty damn solid. I'm convinced it's legit (but maybe not final shooting script). Structure is tight and it makes some big, interesting choices.
