Had always figured that my usefulness in the whole 'helping out with homework' would diminish as our youngster got older, and as he went on to do subjects that I never did. Tell you what, though. Something I never could have forseen in a million parenting years. I'm helping with his art. 🙂

The oddest dream: was apparently planning a road trip in the US with my mum (unlikely) between two places - one far west-ish and one east coast called St Anne’s Pond. There was a map! It was very specific, and the plan only fell apart when I realised I’d be away from home for seven weeks.

Cthulhu by Gaslight has started really well. I think the year off from anything mythos-y did the whole group good, but it's nice to be back on familiar ground - and I've never had chance to run a Victorian period game before. All that occult detective reading I did is paying off 🙂

It's been a fairly rough week here with one thing and another. Relative normality (well, you know) soon, please and thank you.

Today has been a good one, but I think my favourite thing is this: my wife is sat a couple of feet away, and she’s reading my copy of @joeabercrombie.com The Devils that I recommended and she’s proper chuckling 🙂

And it went an absolute treat! I’m not surprised, though. Call of Cthulhu has been our group’s favourite game since school back in the 80s. We play a hell of a lot of different RPGS - but we always come back 🙂
