My weird GM habit: almost* never using monsters from the bestiary, instead just use weird looking dudes with hobbies. *gremlins and boggarts get used cos they already are weird dudes with hobbies. Tigers get used cos they're cute and hold a grudge (what's that if not a hobby?)

TTRPGs might be like FPSs in as much they were solved early on. Remember when they were called doomclones? They wisely changed name when they spread out, unlike roguelikes which is now a uselessly adulterated word. IN CONCLUSION it's all D&D OR we have to start using CRPG again cos ttrpg is too long

Obsidian is really helpful for running games. Why did no one tell me about this word processor sooner? And by sooner I mean *harder*, 'cos I pointedly ignored it when i confused it with Obsidian Portal, which I dislike greatly. Really, you gotta up your game people.

Grid over a Tolkien style map (pretty sure this is a origin of fantasy map style, unless i missed something). 1square = 1league = 1/6 of a days foot speed. Wouldn't have any trouble using that in a game, even though the grid is an afterthought
