Publishers can focus on fluff, stuff, adventures, tools, or core books. Most focus on core books (cos that's where the money is), followed by adventures (cos that's where the fun is). But palladium is all in on fluff and stuff! How is that possible!? They're the coelacanths of ttrpgs, bless them.

Save... 12 pages of book? With this rule: rate how big and/or shooty the gun is on a scale of 1-5. That many d6 damage. OPTIONAL RULE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT CRUNCH- make it a rating out of 7, and it goes 1d4 1d6, 1d8, 2d6, 3d6... etc.

Mate, this rulebook is a beast. It goes off on tangents, offhandedly explains important stuff once and never again, and then drops a short story. I love it. Maybe we've found a new kink: "layoutdom". Obviously gonna have to make a cheat sheet. I'll name it Nightbreed to avoid copyright *WINK!*

FYI, USA registered trademarks don't automatically apply to the UK unless there is strong brand recognition here (basic TMs don't even matter). Aaaand SOMEONE doesn't send books to the UK market soooo... just saying.
