New Menhirs Fate Postcards MF5 Didn't trade them as much as I would have liked due to weather but this time we have the defeat of the Black Laurel and the Tournament of Legends fight that Kaliban, Pippin and Torjack fought and won. I make a new set of these each event to represent our deeds in play.

Menhirs Fate Event 5 My Military unit to took out an enemy army 'The Black Laurel' then I joined a fight to get their general later. I did an entreaty to fire an arrow out into the fading with my friends. Pretty challenging weekend but not without a few good highlights. Hope the next one is better.

Menhirs Fate happened a few weeks back now. It was a pretty soggy set up but we made the most of it with me and Marcus building a tarp den off the side of his car when the worst rain was happening and then the bigly tent arrived and was gifted to us becoming a little nest for the weekend.

Camarilla - Final Nights What a game? Im still processing my feelings. We had to fight Fae in the forms of Vampire hunters from Anime and it was a hard fight with baddies doing 5 agg, I was dropped (not dead) and we won overall. I guess the game was fine but I think I want Fae plot to be over soon.

Diceni on Sunday, I was poorly but I still took part in trying new games people were show casing, peer at minis I will never paint and swap pokemon cards.This came from a young lad called Teddy who had been a little robbed in the past by adults. So I hope I set things right from my trade folder.

Empire: Warm Sun attempts to kill orcs - fails? Back from Empire and had a wonderful time at the new site, I went dancing with the dove and preached with Roshanwe. New Skywise camp set up was excellent vs the very hot days and cold nights. Good games and Im looking forward to the next one.

Turns out Norwich makes rather nice Onigiri when you aren't looking for it and find a surprise little cafe, it is so much nicer when its made fresh and not out of a packet at Tesco. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon and a birthday. Merry birthday Nikki.

Looks like it wasn't for me, but wait, from an unexpected corner my lovely friend who had a second box for their husband has offered to share their haul. Awwww yis. This is why I like pokemon card collecting, its not about the values or investments but.... the friends we have made along the way.

Today was a good card day, I have found some forever cards for my pokemon binder including the full art Rowlet from Perfect order that I had no luck pulling, an japanese Igglybuff card and this amazing Latias flying into laundry art card. Didn't even go to a card show - It was a bootfair.

Bone Deep: Been a real long time since I came back from an Empire with this many torn up Traumatic Wound Cards. Shall we just say that being a battle mage meant I did more than my fair share of 'Floor inspections' and I used up all of my potions healing both myself and my friends.

Empire: Bone Deep - Completed It was grim and dark and it had its own music score. Had depth and didn’t need to jump scare us to be ‘scary’ And then somehow the crew called in a storm making the trees angry and tents sad but lent itself to portraying the horror at Winter Sun camp 31 ‘Auburn Mesa’

Camarilla - Final Nights We fought to rescue the Malkavian Elder Nox whose Haven was attacked by the Sabbat, won the fight and ended the Necromancer who took down our Prince. I earnt Triumphant for the 1st time for completing a Blood Hunt. Brilliant game even if my character caught some big feelings

Merry Warcraft Launch day! Awwwwwh yis. As you can see we've been playing since 11pm last night but I am so thrilled about the collectors edition box that arrived this afteroon, been getting these since Pandaria and this is so darn cool - Now I have my own lil' light up Dark heart.

Menhirs Fate: Last Wayhouse We ran a player event! A day of good vibes, sports and boasting with an Urdrevan feel to it. Topped off by a surprise invasion of Compysaurus eggs to send everyone out into the garden hunting for them. My favorite part was having my own map room to military captain at.

Empire: Military Council Retreat It wasnst a retreat, nobody ran away- There were some amazing talks held by Military sorts, Stories about worth by tiny camp fires, late night drinking and good vibes all round at this small player event. Absolutely would go again and stay up till 3am every night.

Modern Nights Cam woke up from Sleep for 2026. We had a lively game of low humanity monsters locked behind wards, A demon fight that almost cost Smiling Jack the Malkavian (and greatest Hacker) his unlife. Thankfully the cavalry arrived to rescue him before the demon got him. A good game was had.

Made a cute little card vending machine! It came with a Japanese construction kit that uses no glue and you poke all the parts you need to slide it all together. I have never been so pleased with precision cardboard as I am right now. Just need to tinker to make it vend smoothly. Was fun tho!

Memories in Green - An Empire Player event. Been struggling with larp and its been rough start to 2026 but I am reminded that the game is good and the people are better. Had a lovely time and Alex/Rykana was in the winning team for the fighting tourney. I was on hole patrol as the drawing shows.

Mega Evolutions arrived... I was so lucky to get a Gardevoir etb box on pre-order but less lucky in my pulls from that box. What was delightful was sitting in the shop on release day and being with other collectors opening their boxes - the occasional cheer and flex was actually wholesome vibes.

'What is this box' of Menhir's Fate, My travellers Cache went out again for MF4 and it looks like we had some amazing visitors check it out. I saw at one point some folks threatening the box with weapons so I am glad people enjoyed visiting my small hidden treasure. Deffo gonna be back next year.

September 1st and going back to do some learning. So I bought myself a silly little guy toolbox for the adventure and a water bottle with a Triceratops breathing fire on it.

Final Nights Camarilla - Summer party! Hosted a little event with some silly social games for the court of Norwich, took a moody photograph and saved a Werewolf? All in all despite lower player numbers due to a last moment date change, I would say we held the line and made a good event.

The 'What is this box' of Menhir's Fate Hidden somewhere on Haven this little travelling, traveller shrine had its own mini adventure at MF3, filled with goodies and a small notebook those who found it were invited to take a thing and replace it and sign the guest book. It will be back for MF4.

Its Blackberry season... a little early than normal. Ive been mopping up bowls of Berries this week from the back of the garden using the ancient nettle crushing rake bridge technique. Its a good year for them and they are especially nice with an mango ice lolly.

Brought my Trade folder to Empire larp. Had a lovely time swapping cards with other pokemone enthusiasts. None of us are really big collectors but gosh we love the cards that we do have. I am especially pleased with the Gulpin cake card that I swapped thats a forever keeper for me. Would swap again.

Merry Guinea Pig Day everyone! Today we appreciate these little round potato beans in all their glory - These are my two Zakalwe and Tito. I love them very much as they have gotten me through some pretty dark days by just being round and wriggly. They will absolutely do crime for a lettace.

Another great game of Final Nights Norwich this month. Tried a new outfit and had an amazing encounter set in Norwich Cathederal with a group known as the Choir wanting to find sanctuary in the court and then later negotiating the return of the Prince of Paris's ghoul that we had totally kidnapped.

While Im at it, this is my Event two Empire haul. Not so many things as I would like but a friend did get me a copy of the looking glass because I am a very long term fan of the magazine. That at the bottom is one of the seven different musical chimes we had to find in our Day realm treasure hunt.

Empire Event two I had a good weekend with a mission to save the White wood in Skarsind through the power of music, we went on a treasure hunt to collect chimes, learnt music, had band practice and I even learnt to conduct an orchestra. Fourty musicians gathered in the regio and we pulled it off!

Dune Awakenings - Moss and Newt Adventures Got a new game to run around climbing things and getting covered in sand. So far after day one of early access its been really good. Really enjoyed climbing around in the fire cave, didn't like the eyeball puzzle spice huffing experience. Want to play more.

Norwich that was ran at the weekend. It might just be another Darkages Vampire game but it is ours and from what I can tell even with a fierce Earls election under a new system folks had a really good game. Missed one encounter I'd have liked to run but its waiting for October now when we go again.

Norwich Gaming Festival - My first Card fair. Found the magnum opus of Pidgey cards at the fair and though its over my card budget, the lady let me do a part trade and some coins to bring it home for my pidgey collection awwwww yis! Note: I didnt go too mad on buying pokemon cards.

Mucking about at the local fighty larp Shattered Worlds as my character 'Sygne the very strong' adventuring around the UEA campus woods which looked gorgeous again even though the bluebells are all done with for the year. It was really nice to hang out with larp kit with friends.

Menhir's Fate my collection of treasures from the weekend, its not much as there hasn't been enough time for people to start making and peddling things but I did trade for this wonderful map with another Urdrevan traveller and it is ossum. Anwyn also created my holy symbol and I loves it the most.

Made some cute kit last week for Menhir's Fate. A new fest larp here in the UK where I get to play a sort of Dinosaur Nomad person who like the traveller god.

Went to try out the new tent in the garden and this little froggie leapt in the way of Alex's foot, nearly got stepped on. Thankfully not and I chased it off into a pile of pots and leafs. 100% the best froggie though, very pretty green and look at those webby feets!

After so much stress and not getting an Elite Trainer box for the new Prismatic Evolutions pokemon card set I had given up hope. Then somehow won a lottery to have the chance to buy my own box for retail price (dont pay scalpers). So far so good, Got this Eevee in the first two packs yay!

Went to local larp at the UEA, was a laugh. We totally got told off running around the sculptures. I think its a good thing they've changed to hosting only once a month now and it feels like more folks make an effort to go, even if we were just there weapons practicing before Menhir's fate starts.

We ran Darkages on Sunday and it was good. I was reminded of all the reasons I started hosting a larp. We told a story, took our players on a journey and made something that will be remembered in a good way. Not just by these two scamps in the final encounter. The Tremere Regent and his Gargoyle.

Tomorrow we head back into the realms of running our Darkages larp, its been over a year since our last game. We were forced to take the time off by RL being awful. I feel like its day one again back in 2018. I am more than a little anxious about this, can we still give folks a good adventure?

TRINKET TRADING! I traded away all of my trinkets at Larp con and these were the treasures that I aquired from visitors to my stall, one giant rat and a mimic's mouth. Can't wait to do this again next time. Special shout out to @tremblyemporium.bsky.social who designed the shakey hand pin badge.

LarpCon and the Holy Grail. Brought my little shop to the convention, had a wonderful time with the wheel of froggie destiny and all my little pottery things. I had new horns from Mandala for my Tiefling and shared the weekend in the company of friends scheming for Menhir's fate and Empire.

I was wisked away for a mysterious adventure to wales for my birthday. I didn't know where I was going and when we arrived it was dark so come the morning the whole of Harlech castle was there. . Its been magical. We visited a castle and the sea in the same day.

Went to Concordia Esoterica at the weekend an Conclave themed Empire player event, taken a few days to process but it was a good if short event with the wonderful backdrop of Oxford town hall for its magical politics - look at those pristine wood trimmings! Was very odd being an orc but I loved it.

First packs of Pokemon - Prismatic Evolutions. Saved them up for my larp come down after the weekend and though I did not get any pulls that would be high value, I did get some cards that I like. I think these tins will be one I am looking to complete the set for without paying the scalpers fees.

Larp photograph awards deadline was this weekend, I didn't end up entering but I don't feel so bad having been part of the conversation to get some more photography categories listed. I did however pick out some of my favorites from last year, which wasn't a very good year for me taking pictures.

In a nostalgia haze I just tore my way through a dozen sticker packs and opened my brand new 'quest' to fill this sticker book. ... then immediately remembered how bloody hard it is to stick these things down aligned perfectly in their box. It's hell. But gosh it was so fulfilling when I nailed it.

I buy bulbs in the cosy warmth of November as a gift to future me, January was an awful month and there aren't so many nice things on my calendar radar just yet. But the bulbs are waking up now with tiny shoots peeking out of the dirt and I have the flowers to look forward to when they emerge.

Pouring paint into tiny pans while trying to prepare a party for Vampires, just a normal Friday lunchtime I guess... -grumbles- Stupid little tiny paint pans. -grumbles- Stupid Vampires needing to be social.
