Can't sleep, so thinking about T&T: A New Age spells. In Deluxe you could power up spells. We've given wizards the option to spend a mana for each additional die in a spell. But magic is volatile, simulated by dram fail and excep success. You powerful spell could blow up in your face

I have no issues with paganism per se, ancient or modern. I am one after all But the problem with interpreting everything folksy or arcane about seasonal celebrations as some kind of pagan survival is how *reductive* it is. Everything gets given the same story.

I saw a beta on the Rebellion stand at UK Games Expo last year and love their approach. It is a much needed update to the game and I am all for that.

What I'd love to see is an overall license that alllows both A New Age and classic T&T to flourish in 3rd party, each feeding off each other for creativity. On a personal level I can then re-release some of my adventures
