Apologies, I failed to elaborate. Hans Zimmer wrote the theme tune to Going for Gold. A tune. Sick day off school memories. So he could pay the bills. And then he made the beautiful soundtrack to Interstellar. Artists should be able to pay the bills to then be able create the music we love.

Might just be a bit excited about booking a ticket to see this at Chelmsford Cathedral on Halloween. An Essex girl called Tracy, born in Chelmsford, who studied astrophysics. Defying the stereotype. Music, the soundtrack to our lives. Interstellar was made for me. And I also love Going for Gold.

They've been laying fibre down my street this past week. Today's street works have been a satisfying watch. Someone has been pressure washing the entire street, with a big industrial power washer called Brendon Bowser.

I usually distract him with treats so I can leave the house, he follows me. He likes to play and hide. Today however I thought I'd see just how far he would go, expecting him to eventually stop following me. He did not stop, so we went back home, Dreamies were deployed, so I could then sneak out!

Carers know their rights. They fight for them every day, week, month and year. Local authorities, the DWP, the government, fail them. Carer charities need to step up. We do not need telling. We know. Tell those we fight.

The plan to build new towns has reminded me of my town's history. It was based on the Essex Design Guide back in the late '70s. And we had a song, chosen by Tony Blackburn in a competition. I asked the Essex Record Office to put it online.

Kind of feels like a big deal that a Reform/Brexit Party former MEP has been convicted of taking bribes to promote Russian interests in Ukraine, and it feels like a bigger deal that this isn’t being treated as the major scandal that it clearly is.

I've been arguing with Essex County Council for over a year now because they did not investigate properly a case where an employee gave hundreds of thousands of public money to her friends, whilst also paying others less than min wage. No rules followed at all. Fraud.

The news media is asking us daily to believe that certain people don't have the same right to live and work and see their children thrive as others, and also asking to worry about the feelings of a computer server, and these two things might just possibly be linked.
