The Labour Government should go all out on blaming Trump and Trump's supporters on the right like Reform and Tories for the prices rises, mortgage hikes and lost investment income we will all face as a consequence of this horror.

I regret opting for the Axl Rose sat-nav voice. Keeps just saying, "Where do we go now? Where do we go?" over and over.

Already fed up with the 'hilarious' same joke I'm seeing over and over about Brits living in UAE somehow deserving the terror and danger of living in a war zone because they pay no tax. Plenty of people out there for other reasons lumped in with them. Caveat: Oakeshott is fair game.

Farage, Starmer, Badenoch today sound like big fat baby brats. Crack dens, Galloway, harvesting Muslim bloc, conspiracy voting, sectarianism, extremism. No wonder everyone in G+D was gagging to vote for a person who has a normal job and life. They couldn't look more pathetic and out of touch.

The only way Labour can win the next election is by governing well. That might not be enough, but it’s the bare minimum. The questions to be asking about any potential new PM are “what is their agenda and can they achieve it?” Not “do they currently poll well?” Or “can they handle a media round?”

It is worth recalling that the position of U.K. Ambassador to the US was not vacant at the time the Prime Minister chose to appoint Peter Mandelson to the role. A highly competent and respected woman was replaced.

I’m not sure ‘our national security developed vetting technique can be beaten if a candidate is prepared to lie’ is an especially helpful line to push.

This is preying on my mind a bit. Jeffrey Epstein was not primarily a British scandal! So far we've removed a Prince from the Royal family, fired our US ambassador who was one of the most important political figures of the last few decades and banned the CEO of Barclays from the financial industry..

Keir Starmer is verrrry wobbly on these forensic questions from Kemi Badenoch about the appointment of Peter Mandelson. It's the first time I've seen an actual shift in the power balance between them.

The funny thing about a certain type of angry conspiracy guy is that they’re literally being confronted with an elite paedophile ring and a tyrannical government at the same time right now, and because it isn't being done by the people they wanted it to be done by they’re all being pussies about it

I understand the pressures on the BBC, but Radio 4's coverage of the Minneapolis shooting is an example of "bad balance". It's all "the Trump regime says she was a terrorist, but Democrats say it was murder". The BBC has the footage. It doesn't have to treat truth and falsehood as equally valid.

Rob Reiner's first seven films: 1. Spinal Tap. 2. The Sure Thing. 3. Stand By Me. 4. THE PRINCESS BRIDE. 5. WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. 6. Misery 7. A Few Good Men. Good lord. Even Spielberg included 1941 in his first seven. And that was after playing Michael Stivic. I hope this news isn't true. But...

When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

Rob Reiner: I'm going to make a coming of age drama, a fantasy adventure story, a romantic comedy, a psychological horror and then a courtroom drama. Us: Across your entire career? Reiner: In a 6 year period. Us: That sounds- Reiner: -Each one will be arguably the best movie in that genre.

Some irony that Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue failed to stick the landing. In fact, after an intriguing premise and well executed first few episodes, it turned into a microwave reheated And Then There Were None.

I know McSweeney isn't the whole problem. I know the king chooses his advisors. But I really do think letting a campaigns guy who thinks in polling not policy run all the bits the PM isn't interested in is a huge, huge contributor to their inability to climb out of this hole.

Honestly TELL THE STORY. Won’t someone just tell the fucking story of how Brexit created this economic hardship, how a Muslim immigrant just saved the lives of those commuters on that train, won’t someone in politics or even media just connect the fucking dots and TELL THE STORY. IT’S RIGHT THERE
