This is exactly the phenomenon I was discussing in my thread yesterday (will attach below). Even if you can show a video is faked with AI, some people just don’t care - as long as it supports what they want to believe.

I got to work with so many fantastically creative people on the 2000 AD Annual. But tough competition this year.

I agree with all of this. It WAS better in black and white. It WAS better serialised. The short chapters don't work as well once they're collected (for me). Probably why I haven't revisited it as much as I should.
