Area man who dropped out of college and worked at his dad’s business before becoming premier and only showing up for work 50% of the time stands on the lawn of the home he inherited from his mom to tell young people that if they can’t find a job it’s because they’re not looking hard enough.

Wife: I'll buy a subscription to any publication that writes one honest story about the "masculinity crisis" that just says "Men want to be able to treat women like shit and still get laid" and just be done with it. There's no more depth to the discussion. There is no nuance.

Every single time I am at the hospital (which is frequently) there’s an older, often disabled person flummoxed by the parking machines. I help them but what happens when no one is around? A lot of technology sucks

This is going to be a real bonanza for the rich, who already abuse/overwork/underpay their nannies, house cleaners, caregivers, servers, landscapers, etc. Live-in workers could essentially become enslaved.

I just read Lorne Gunter’s ‘piece’ in the Edmonton Journal about the sexual assault committed against EM. I should have known better. His opinion is exactly why women do not get justice. EM didn’t ask for this trial Lorne chooses to assault her again.
