No. The details and path matter. This doesn’t require every provider to charge Medicare rates for everyone. They can still take commercial payers. Why? Because almost every hospital says they lose money at Medicare/caid rates. This pre-empts their ability to fight against it.

I believe wholeheartedly that it is achievable. But not by just wishing it will happen. To get there we need to 1. Make the big insurance companies divest non ins biz. 2. Complete transparency on pricing, and the documentation behind the pricing.

You pass the law. Which gov healthcare systems ? Who tells all the doctors and nurses with tons of debt where and who they work for and for how much ? Who pays the bills at all the high end hospitals that offer unique care ? Who tells patients they can or can't get care ? Who runs it. RFK ?

Have you looked at why RiteAid and thousands of independent pharmacies went out of business, and Walgreens was broke before being bought ? Do you understand who creates the horrific economics for non captive pharmacies ? Of course you don't. Spend that same energy pushing to break up insurers

Mr Cuban, I just wanted to quickly thank you. My husband has XXXX cancer, a rare gastrointestinal cancer. We are between insurance right now and when we went to pick it up we were informed it was $29,000. We were able to get it from CostPlus for $990. Thank you for saving my husband's life.

Trump proposed UBI with his HSA plan and no one realized it. It's say $3k every year, direct to lower income ACA plan holders who qualified for subsidies. Most don't pay income taxes. Under HSA, they can pay a 20 pct penalty to take the cash out. So they net $200 per month. Thats UBI
