For those who think measles is nothing, Israel just had its 6th measles death since April with >1700 known and 5000 estimated cases. 41 (36 kids) have been in ICUs. Israel has an 88% vaccination rate, not enough to prevent disease spread.

I grew up in working-class Scranton PA, went on to do a PhD, worked at MIT with AI types, was NIH funded at universities, and have seen NIH from the inside. I know how the US innovation system works. Schulman, the author, doesnât know what heâs talking about: he doesnât understand US science.
