i think we see gender affirming care for cis people as optional but it literally is not. they literally cannot live without GAC.

This is why I'm skeptical of how much social justice energy is spent finding the right words for things, because the cis will just not listen to the actual words or pay attention to what they mean and just gloss them as a more polite euphemism for "biological sex" or whatever
