The party of law and order literally just wrote themselves a memo that says they don't have to follow the 4th Amendment. That's right, ICE intends to perform illegal search and seizures without a warrant. Add that to the list with "we had to beat up the police on Jan 6 to defend our democracy".

The “different type of warrant”:

This is such an important point. That 5-year-old and his dad should never been detained in the first place! That's because they were already in the system and going through the legal process to seek asylum — and their arrest was seemingly just to juice ICE's numbers.

This is 100% FALSE. Immigration judges do NOT play any role in issuing administrative warrants. They are generated and signed by ICE officers themselves. ICE’s own training materials say they can’t be used for a search of a home! Here’s a blank warrant form. Note who signs it.

The only fix is to ABOLISH ICE. Recent reports have brought to light an ICE memo wrongly permitting ICE agents, in direct violation of the Constitution, to enter private homes without warrants to unlawfully execute Trump’s cruel mass deportation agenda.

ICE kidnapped a defendant from a Massachusetts district court hallway today while the jury was deliberating in his case and refused to allow him to remain long enough to hear the verdict. He was found not guilty, but will almost certainly be deported anyway
