Update on this: the few photos that turned out ok needed like... basically zero editing (obviously in no small part thanks to my lab). So clearly Portra really *is* just that good. Which also means the excess of duds in this roll is, without a doubt, user error T-T

I'm unfortunately finding out that developing your own film is only fun and games until you get the scanned positives back and find out everything looks like utter ass T-T I stg it looks like I developed it in drain cleaner and pebbles...
