While this anecdote is awesome, it is important to remember that many of the creatives behind Samus/Metroid were no longer alive or with the company by the time of Prime 1. Stated inspiration for Samus and Ridley is from Alien/Aliens. You can still be altruistic and badass.

The other absolutely insane thing about D-He3 fusion startups, specifically Helion, is that they don’t even have a He3 supply. They plan on making the He3 in the reactor via D-D fusion, then doing D-He3 fusion with the helium it makes. That’s a lot of neutron radiation!
