Good afternoon from downtown Chicago, where despite heavy snowfall, thousands have gathered for an anti-ICE/CBP demonstration in solidarity with the Twin Cities. More are still streaming in. Lt. Illinois Gov. Juliana Stratton just addressed the crowd, and called for ICE to be abolished.

This was a whole lot of words to say absolutely nothing. Let’s end the era where these corporations control politicians.

Minnesota BCA Superintendent Drew Evans says federal agents repeatedly blocked state investigators from accessing the shooting scene, even though the BCA had a judicial warrant

She never prosecuted a single case related to police brutality when she was Hennepin County attorney, but for everyone else, she pursued heavier sentencing and less favorable plea deals, and sought to bring more cases to trial. Anyways just things to think about when she tries to run for governor.
