Agreed. As someone who knew him well, I’m sad for Charlie & his family. As someone who disagreed with him politically, I’m sad & afraid for this country that is so darn divided. Neither side has a monopoly on political violence. Until both sides acknowledge that truth, the violence will continue.

1. We do not know the motive of the shooter. The man who shot at Trump was after attention. 2. The man who murdered MN legislators WAS motivated by politics, and I didn’t hear any Dems calling for reprisals against all Repubs. 3. It’s easy to start a cycle of violence. Not easy to end one.

We should all have a right to free speech without violence. What happened to Charlie Kirk was horrible. The question is, will Trump's team use this as a reason to invade the Republican controlled Utah? Or, will they somehow use it as an excuse for invading something Blue (or removing rights).
