Anyone with experience doing #metagenomics #microbiome of small insects, e.g. mosquitoes? 🦟🦠 Trying to figure out feasibility of doing individual metagenomes vs pools of individuals. I see both approaches are still used in the literature. My concern would be getting enough DNA from individuals.
